Hiring an IT Field Service Engineer!

We are hiring for the role IT Field Service Engineer, and we are looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience. Mandatory requirements are fluent Swedish and English speaking, driving license and your own car.

Your daily job activity will be to travel to client locations and deliver IT services. Tasks can be very simple like installing hardware, software, testing, to more advanced tasks like networking, installing routers, switches, etc. If you are more junior, you will receive appropriate training.
Sometimes you might be participating in project rollout or working on client site for several weeks or months. Most common rollout work includes Windows upgrades, data migration, installing equipment, etc.

We also have full-time client placements where you would work only at the client site and supporting internal employees.
This position is a combination of a customer service role and tech role, therefore you must possess a blend of technical IT skills as well as service-based soft skills.
The requirement for you having your own car is because you will be required to travel to different locations. Driving can sometimes be up to 4 hours one way which means you need to be passionate about delivering remote services. The company will, of course, compensate you for the gas expenses and any overtime can be taken as time-off when there is a low workload. Traveling sometimes might require overnight, for example when a 2-day job should be delivered, or when traveling by plane is required.
We are also growing out 24×7 services and 24×7 availability is most often required.
